Picture Discussion 3I

This picture depicts of both a man and a female company fishing. From the attire they are in, we could see that the weather is cold as firstly we all know that fishing is a slow process, (we are not able to hook a fish immediately after throwing in the fishing line together with a bait unless you are really lucky). Given that it is a slow process, a normal human being would not wear long sleeves together with a vest as shown in the picture, puffy long pants although the two human figures in the picture are fishing with their legs getting wet, wearing long sleeves is absolutely ridiculous in a hot and humid environment.

With this, I would like to highlight that both human figures are very patient people as fishing is all about patience. Without it, getting a fish hooked might seem boring and be considered one of the last activities you will do in your entire life.

As for the relationship of the couple, as seen from the picture, the female company seemed to be smiling. However as for the male it is not very clear in the picture, his facial expressions. And for them standing quite close together and interacting with the lady smiling, this shows that they are in good terms.

The physical environment might not be shown very clearly, but to me, I can see small blocks of floating ice. This could all add up to the evidences to conclude that the weather is cold.

From the picture, the water level of the water body can be roughly known. (At the knee-level) This is obvious that the water level is not very high, and the fish that they are looking for are the ones that has the ability to survive in shallow and cold waters.

I presume that the water body is not any sea or ocean as there are no waves observed. It should either be a lake or a river. Hence with this, I would like to add on that the fish found are fresh-water fish.

Both human figures in the picture would probably be waiting till they catch a fish and meanwhile, they can continue to chat in order to stall time.

I feel that although this picture may look plain, there is still a meaning behind it in which to show that life, from just common activities like fishing, we are still able to find joy in it. With this, I would like to include, for everything we do, be it something that might seem boring such as sewing, there's always a fun part in it, it just depends on how we look at things, each and everyone, our perceptions of certain things are different. There are many alternatives that we can choose, it might not be just a narrow and smooth path way, some of us here who are willing to face all dangers bravely, not back out but persevere, fight till the everyone, yes, we will pick the rocky and wide pathway. There's no wrong or right to our choices. What matters is that we believe in ourselves, put in effort, yes, no matter what the final results attained are, we know that we have done our best.
