Picture discussion

By looking at the scene in the picture, I believe this picture is taken after a disaster. The disaster is probaly an earthquake as the road in the picture seems to be out of shape and the house is ripped apart. There is a thin layer of smoke near the collapsed building. Hence, i predict a fire was caused during the earthquake. There is a man standing on top of the parts of the collapsed building near the centre of the picture looking into the bits and pieces of the collasped building. I assume he is a rescuer and is there to check whether is there anyone buried in the collasped building.

I presume there is no one hurt in this natural disaster as there are no ambulance nor paramedic in the picture.Earthquakes are occurring more and more common in our daily live. I feel that there is a need to implant a bomb shelter in each and everyone's house so that during an earthquake, the house would not collapse and would protect people in the house. The house beside the collapsed one has done an example by implanting bomb shelter into the structure of the house. As you can see, the other house was not damaged by the earthquake.

I feel that Singapore is a very lucky country. We have no natural disaster due to our good locaction such as being surrounded by islands that protects us from such as tsunami. Hence, we should help those that helped us such as providing food and clean water to the tsunami-strucked areas that protected us. Without them, we would not have what we have now.
